Being in control of a customer finances comes with it great responsibility. Candidates
are required to service clients’ needs and offer advice on their investments. The
requirement of a ‘fit and proper’ individual is essential to guidance notes set
out by the FSA. Candidates must maintain appropriate compliance procedures at all
times. Starting salaries are relatively low, but earning capabilities are unlimited
as commissions are also paid in Equity Broking positions.

Very similar to Equity Brokers, these positions focus on derivative traded products
as opposed to traditional equity investments. As traditional Equity Brokers, being

The CF30 qualification is not just a requirement for broking, banking, investment
and other front office positions. Many clients prefer their employees to posses
this qualification, regardless of their employment position. Whilst the CF30 qualification
enables individuals to give investment advice, it also provides employees added
attributes when considered for new positions and possible promotion.
