An opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK’s fastest growing Lettings Agency covering the whole of London. Our client provides property lettings and management services to over 3000 Landlords within London and this number is ever growing. Due to the rapid growth of our client and having recently just won a number of high profile property lettings and management contracts, our client is now seeking to recruit a professional and enthusiastic Lettings Inspector. The successful candidate will be based in their East London Head Office and expected to hit the ground running. More Information? The Role As a Lettings Inspector, you will be responsible for arranging tenant property sign-ups. As you will be dealing mainly with DSS Tenants, you will be responsible for completing Tenant Housing Benefit Forms correctly and in a timely manner. Whilst prior experience in this type of role is not essential, some knowledge of Housing Benefit would be advantageous. Your role will also be spending each day visiting properties, meeting tenants, preparing and checking inventories. You will also conduct inspections and schedules of conditions for properties too. Dealing with Tenant queries and maintenance issues will also be part of this job role. The Candidate The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-6 months experience in property administration or lettings inspections. The candidate should have excellent organisational skills along with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. They should also be a confident individual who can work well under pressure and well within a team. The ideal candidate must be a strong, independently minded person that is able to use their own initiative to resolve situations. They must also carry a professional approach at all times. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a sales career in a unique environment and to gain experience in a specialised sector within the property industry. This role pays a basic salary of between £20,000 - £25,000, based on experience plus a commission structure of between £3,000 - £5,000 based on performance. The successful candidate must also hold a full UK driving licence and they will have access to a company pool car. Other benefits will include the use of a mobile phone.
