I.T Technical Support Service Engineer
Our client is a comprehensive telephony services having served over 4000 corporate, government and NHS organisations since their inception in 1992. The Role:• Your role will be to take inbound calls from customers with problems with their systems used by GPs, Schools and other varied businesses• You will need to have excellent communication skills to act calmly to a situation down, and talk the person through the problem and try to remedy accurately• You will also be expected, when needed to access the clients equipmet remotely to sort the problem out with the client• Be able to deal with the call or follow up and use own initiative or pass to senior management when needed• Work well under pressure• Communicate with colleagues & field engineers
Key requirements:• The successful candidate will be an Avaya IP Office Technical guru with excellent customer service and Avaya support background• You will be based from the office and will support my client's field engineers and their customer's issues directly • You will be resolving faults and also dealing with escalation work• Min 3 years experience within a support / installation capacity• Already hold or well established towards achieving a minimum of an ACS qualifications• Basic networking skills including TCP/IP, firewalls, and internet technologies• Good organizational skills • Professional, positive and decisive in approach
