FX Dealer This position is to join an existing client service team based in London. The jobs primary objective is to provide a high quality and consistent level of customer service to the UK and European customer base and dealers based both in London and European countries. The individual will provide an single point of interface for designated customers, managing generic operational issues, customer based MIS, new business requirements for operational effectiveness and gauging operational service standards from the clients perspective. The role will necessitate working closely with dealers, Investigations, Claims, Confirmations, Processing, GTS and Relationship Managers in order to enhance service quality and efficiency. The position requires an in-depth technical knowledge of interest claims, FX settlements, confirmations, reconcilements, general investigations and GTS products. Further scope for individual development is afforded by the necessity to ensure a constant improvement in the levels of customer service provided.
Key Responsibilities: The holder of this position will carry out the following task - Liaising with London and European client base and other departments including, middle office, FX Ops, FO, SSCU, Credit, GTS and Securities. - Compiling MIS: trend and source cause analysis: Analysis includes: errors, losses, problem resolution, resolution timing and resolution completeness. - Maintaining SSI's, procedures and customer records - Documentation collation to increase client for optimum STP. - Provide coverage for Investigations, reconciliations and liaison with claims Utility and GTS. - Analyse customer's activities to introduce improved delivery and better end to end achieve customer integration; provide associated consultancy service across all elements of FX - New Deal Review Process - Customer reviews and performance management meetings
Skills Required / Work Experience: - Reliability, accuracy and attention to detail - Work experience in an FX operations environment. - Previous experience in a customer or front office-facing role is desirable - Working without supervision and being able to make independent decisions.
